YvaMarie Began at a Turning Point in My Own Life
As I approached 50, I was changing and so was my skin. The products and routines I had relied on for years weren't working the same way anymore. Hormonal changes brought dryness, sensitivity, breakouts, and unpredictability, sometimes all at once. I found myself searching for skincare that could deliver real results without asking my changing skin to tolerate harsher treatments or an overwhelming routine.
At the same time, another part of my life was shifting. For more than 30 years, I had built a career across financial services and technology while building businesses of my own and helping women through HerSuiteSpot. Then I lost my job. What could have been an ending became the push I needed to take a leap of faith and finally build something I had been thinking about for years.
That leap became YvaMarie New York, created from my own search for skincare that felt simpler, more intentional, and made for the skin I was in now.
Created for Skin That Changes
I didn't create YvaMarie because I wanted women to fight aging. I created it because I understood what it felt like when your skin changed and the products you once trusted no longer seemed to understand it.
Sensitive, hormonally changing skin can be dry one day and unpredictable the next. It can need hydration while experiencing breakouts. Changes in texture, tone, firmness, and resilience can happen at the same time skin becomes less tolerant of overly aggressive routines. I wanted skincare that acknowledged those realities without making women feel as though they needed ten products to address them.
YvaMarie is designed around purposeful formulas and intentional rituals that help support the skin barrier, replenish moisture, restore visible balance, and address the concerns that emerge as skin evolves. It's not about more skincare. It's about the right skincare for where you are now.

At this stage of my life, self-care doesn't mean doing more. It means becoming more intentional about what deserves my time, and I wanted YvaMarie to reflect that philosophy.

For years, my work has centered on helping women recognize what they already carry, their experience, ambition, and ability to build what's next. YvaMarie comes from that same place.
Our skin changes. Our bodies change. Our careers and lives change, too. I've learned that those shifts don't have to be something we resist. Sometimes they're the very thing that pushes us toward what's next. Losing my job became that moment for me, and YvaMarie became part of what I chose to build on the other side of it.
I created YvaMarie for women navigating their own seasons of change and wanting to care for themselves with the same intention they have spent years giving to everything and everyone else. This is skincare for the skin you're in now and the woman you're becoming.
